Candle Magic is a great spiritual tool. It is simple, very effective, and very inexpensive. All you need is a candle of the appropriate colour, a stick match to light and your intention/wish.

But before you jump into this practice, I must hastily advocate that you align yourself spiritually as you fruits of your labor is depended on your energy signature.

Everything is Energy; Energy is the sum of Frequency and Vibrations.

As one of the Universal Law of Vibration states, everything moves, nothing rests. Everything you see around you is vibrating and moving at one frequency or another and so are you and as such you attract who you are.

With that said, Spiritual Alignment is spiritual law we all MUST observe. Why? ..... Alignment to source opens up the generosity of the universe and creates an effortless magnetism to what is already yours.

Before we engage in any spiritual works, we must check ourselves to assess the conditions or status of our alignment to source. Like with everything that is in use, maintenance is necessary, and, in this case, you will need to cleanse, balance, and realign.

It is important to create the environment where you can manifest your desires without force and never at the expense of others. We are born abundant, and abundance is our birthright.

Here are three (3) ritual you can use to ensure you are balance and aligned to Infinite Creator Source:

1. Do a Spiritual Bath at least twice a month.

You may use the sea, river or create your bath water at home. This practice will keep your Aura clean as well as remove spiritual debris from your person.

2. Cultivate a personal relationship with your High-Vibrational Ancestors who loves you, Spirit Guides and Guardian Angels so they can assist you in time of need. An easy way to do this is to keep an active alter.

3. Charity work. Ensure you give genuinely from your heart space without expectations.

When you give to people, they send gratitude and affirmations for you to the universe, and this cultivates good karma and energy back to you.

Candle Burning has been around for thousands of years and is a kind of alchemy, where all elements are represented- fire is represented in the flame, air is represented from the smoke, as the wax melts it represents water, and in its solid form it represents earth.

Candles comes in all different colours and colours operate on certain frequency and carries its distinct vibration.

White

How to Use Candles Magically

First thing you will need is a brand new candle. Never reuse candles as it holds the vibration from its last use.

Step 1: Cleanse your candle. This is important to remove any previous energies latching onto it. You can cleanse your candle with salt, smoke, sound, or any other cleansing tool that feels good to you. Here I will share a simple one with Florida Water.

Cleanse with Florida Water

Get a disposable napkin and saturate it generously with Florida Water.
Starting from the Base of the candle upward to the wick, make one directional stroke until you cover the circumference. Do not move your hand up and down. While you are cleansing from base to wick chant these words:

“I channel the clearing properties of this water to cleanse this candle of all stagnant energies. I command that all negative energies return to the Earth so that it may be transmuted into love.”

4. Visualize a bright, white light emanating from the candle and pulsing into your surroundings, moving and removing anything previously stuck to the candle to the Earth.

Step 2: Charge the candle/s with your intention.

Setting intention is the primary focus of this ritual. When setting intention, stay present, breathe and focus your intention to the candle.

Feel free to dress your candle by using oil (consecrated or special blend) to anoint the candle. If you are removing or banishing energy, you anoint from base to wick; If you are bringing in energy towards you, you anoint from wick to bottom.

You can also carve runes, words or symbols into your candle or even roll it into herbs. This will help you amplify your spell, making it more powerful.

Step 3: Light the candle with a match while visualizing your desire. Sit and meditate on your goal while the candle is burning down. Once you feel intuitively that you are finished, snuff out the candle or sit with the candle until it has finished burning.

Infinite Creator: Mother God and Father God, I come humble in your divine presence to give thanks. Thank you for your love and for always being with me.

How the Moon Cycle Affects Candle Your Ritual?

The moon has 8 phases/cycle that spans over 28 days which is equivalent to a true month and spend 2 - 2.5 days in each zodiac sign.

During each phase the moonrise and moonset varies as demonstrated in the table.

Different type of candle ritual are best executed during a specific moon phase. Let’s look at the phases and the best work to undertake.

1. New Moon Represents – beginnings, drawing towards you (take note what sign the new moon is in). It last for 1 day and is known as the Dark Moon. During this phase, the moon is between the Earth and the sun. The is the first day of the Lunar Month. The energy of the New Moon is associated with introspection, self-analysis and reflection on ourselves. An opportunity for a fresh start and a New You.

2. Waxing Crescent – As the moon's illuminated surface increases, this stage is known as waxing, and it's a crescent as long as it's less than half full.

3. First Quarter - This is the phase when half of the moon is illuminated, and the percentage of the lit surface is still increasing.

4. Waxing Gibbous- This is the phase when the moon is more than half full and still increasing its illuminated surface. The waxing stage represents growth, drawing towards you, building something up

5. Full moon – When the moon is full it cannot be missed. It is now in full illumination. This full moon phase represents completion, greater power (also pay attention to what sign the full moon is in)

6. Waning Gibbous This is the stage when the moon is more than half lit but the illuminated surface we can see is decreasing. It starts 3 days after the full moon and goes on for 7 days. This phase represents diminishing, closing something down, letting go, getting rid of something. It is the perfect time to remove and eliminate negative energies

7. Last Quarter- During this phase, the moon is once again half illuminated, but the lit area that's visible is on the decline. This phase starts 7 days after the Full Moon and goes on to the 10 day. Last Quarter is a great tie to close off an pending issues and renew your inner strength

8. Wanning Crescent-As the next new moon nears, the moon shrinks back to a crescent that's less than half full. This is referred to as the Dark Moon. It spans 10 days after the full moon until the night before the New Moon.

The moon phase is not the only condition that affect your candle magic, the day of the week also affects the potency of the ritual.

Sunday

Sunday is, as the name suggests, the day of the Sun. It's a great day for intentions regarding the banishment of negative energies. It's also a good day for attracting healing energies. Colour: yellow, orange and white. Anoint the candles with Lavender or Sage oil.

Monday

Monday is the Moon's day. The moon is the representation of the feminine spirit, so it’s a good day for intentions involving communication. Things like reconciliation are best done on Mondays. Colour: white and grey. Anoint with ylang-ylang and lavender oil.

Tuesday

Tuesday is ruled by Mars. Tuesday is a day associated with courage. Best for ritual: bringing home loved ones from war, personal struggles, as well as physical challenges. Colour: Red. Anoint with Ginger and Clove Oil.

Wednesday

Mercury, the messenger, planet of communication. Perfect for ritual with a focus on business transactions. It's also a great day for intentions involving the pursuit of knowledge. Colour: Yellow, purple and grey. Anointcandles with frankincense or patchouli oil.

Thursday

Thursday, ruled by Jupiter, is the perfect day for attracting luck and wealth. It's also a good day for burning candles with the intention of attracting healing energies. Farmers should burn candles on Thursdays for a healthy and plentiful crop. Colour:Blue and Brown. Anoint candles with rosemary or lemongrass oil.

Friday

Friday is the day of Venus, planet of love and beauty. This makes Friday the day to perform any affirmations regarding your love life. It's also a good day to address any relationship or partnership in your life. Colour: Pink Anoint with Ylang Ylang

Saturday

Saturday is Saturn's day, and it is the day for intentions regarding a major change in your life. It's also a great day for those looking to pursue psychic wisdom, particularly in the realm of spirit communication. Affirmations for locating lost things should be done on Saturdays. Colour: Gray, Black, Blue or Purple. Anoint with sandalwood or frankincense oil.
